Online New Student Orientation
All first time in college students are required to complete a New Student Orientation. The New Student Orientation is designed to assist students with understanding college life, being a successful college student, and where to find the college's policies.
Student Success Course (EDUC-1300) Required
Effective Fall 2012, First Time in College students are required to take this course. Non-degree seeking students are not required to take this course.
Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
Effective November 1, 2012, Texas law requires incoming college students to be vaccinated against bacterial meningitis or provide an exemption request declining the vaccine. Senate Bill 1107 amends the Texas law, requiring proof of vaccination at least 10 days prior to attending class. Class registration is blocked for LSC students until compliance with the bacterial meningitis vaccination requirement is documented. Confirm your compliance status by signing into myLoneStar.
