What Is A Proctored Exam?
Some courses require students to take proctored exams. A proctored exam is supervised either at an in-person testing center or by an online proctor.
Lone Star College Testing Centers provide a variety of testing services to students, including but not limited to Placement Exams, Make-up Exams/LSC-Online Exams, Correspondence Exams, Challenge Exams, Foreign Language Exams, and Exams for students approved for ADA Accommodations.
Physical Proctoring Options
Many online and hybrid courses require proctored exams and these exams can be taken at any Lone Star College Testing Center, at an alternative testing center site, or using a remote service approved by the instructor.

ALTERNATIVE TESTING CENTER SITES
If you are not able to visit an LSC Testing Center, you may take an exam at an approved location listed by the National College Testing Association. This is a list of proctoring locations throughout the United States and Canada. Should you wish to use one of those site, you will need to provide your instructor with a Proctor Agreement Form for Alternative Testing Sites and Proctors. Prior arrangements with the instructor should be made to ensure the exam materials and requirements are sent prior to students' arrival.
There may be fees associated with proctored assessments that are not at LSC testing centers.
